Comprehensive Eye Examinations
The primary benefit of being a member of EYEPLAN is that you have peace of mind knowing that you have access to an eye examination (including digital photography or dilating the pupils with special drops) whenever you need it. All emergency appointments are covered and we shall be happy to give you advice over the telephone too.

Regular Contact Lens Aftercare
As you probably already enjoy the benefits of being on our Practice Plan for Contact Lens Wearers, when you transfer to EYEPLAN Contacts you will have the added benefit of Accidental Damage Cover for your spectacles. If you are a member of EYEPLAN Contacts you will also receive regular contact lens examinations in addition to lower cost contact lenses, spectacles and sunglasses.

Accidental Damage Cover
All spectacles purchased whilst a member (and remaining a member) of EYEPLAN are covered by EYEPLAN's Accidental Damage Scheme.

The scheme is designed to give EYEPLAN members the rassurance that the investment that they have made in quality frames and lenses is protected. The cover specifically includes:

  • Cover for two years for all spectacles purchased from Hynes Optometrist whilst a member of EYEPLAN.
  • As many spectacles as are purchased are covered - there is no limit on the amount of claims that can be made.
  • No limit on the cost of the spectacles covered.
  • For each claim a small excess is charged proportionate to the cost of repair. Cover is 'like for like' and upgrades are not permitted under the scheme. The scheme is limited to accidental damage and does not cover wear and tear or negligence or loss.

Up to 20% off Every Pair of Glasses
This exclusive reduction applies to every pair of spectacles or sunglasses that you buy, making eyewear more affordable.

Paying by Monthly Direct Debit
EYEPLAN helps you budget for your eye care by spreading the cost of fees. You pay by direct debit from just £9.50 per month.

Minimum Contract Time
The minimum term is 18 months, but we prefer to look at EYEPLAN as a long-term commitment that enables you to have high quality eye care with the added benefit of greatly priced eyewear.
